Griffin G170-10 Spin-On Filter / Water Separator. The G170, with a flow rate of 45 GPH, is a Griffin Spin-On Series filter. The G170 is 7.95" in height and 4.70" in depth. The G170 provides unsurpassed fuel filtration and water separation and is a direct crossover to the Racor 645. The G170 uses genuine MICROBLOC® replacement elements. G series Spin-On filters feature a 7 port non-pump style head. Select a GP series for a unit with and integrated primer pump. G units come unassembled and complete with 7 port head, 5 plugs for unused ports, genuine MICROBLOC® G17-10 Micron Spin-On element, clear plastic water bowl and O-ring. Fuel ports are 3/8"-18 NPTF. All Griffin Spin-On Series Fuel Filter / Water Separators come with a one year warranty. Element life is not covered by this warranty and will vary upon your particular conditions and usage. Griffin filtration technology was developed from over 30 years of experience purifying petroleum-contaminated seawater. MICROBLOC® Multi-grade Filtration Media Elements have tested to be 99.8% effective in separating water from diesel and bio-diesel fuels and can remove solid contaminants as small as 2 microns in size. G17 elements are available in 2, 10 and 30 micron sizes. Diesel Filters Direct can also help you find the fittings you need to complete your installation like a pro. Fittings are sold separately.
